Meet Brett!

Brett is the founder and CEO of Four Moons Yoga Therapy.

Before discovering yoga, Brett double majored in Environmental Studies and Environmental Education at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, VT. During her junior year, she studied sustainability and environmental action in Australia with the School for International Training, an experience that deeply reinforced her passion for environmental stewardship. After returning to the U.S., Brett spent four years working on local farms and interned at her college's farm as the Field Systems Manager and Education Outreach Coordinator.

Leading up to graduation, Brett was accepted into an esteemed global sustainability and political action master’s program, where she was preparing to study in Tanzania, Iceland, and Australia to learn how to address environmental issues on a global scale. But then—COVID. The program was canceled, and as Brett says, the universe had other plans in store for her. She pivoted, moving to Hawai’i to WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms), seeking both academic stimulation and hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and food systems.

Her journey toward becoming a Yoga Therapist began in Maui, where she earned her 200-hour RYTT certification at the Maui Yoga Shala. From that moment on, she knew—without a doubt—that teaching yoga was her calling. But at the time, she didn’t quite understand why yoga spoke to her so deeply. That clarity came during her time in Dani McGuire's PranaYoga School for Holistic Health and Yoga Therapy Training, where she received her C-IAYT certification.

In that program, Brett was introduced to Ayurveda, and everything clicked into place. She began to see how deeply interconnected the yoga tradition is with the natural world—and how environmental stewardship is inherently part of the practice. Through this lens, she realized that she could still be an environmental advocate, just in a new and unexpected way. Yoga Therapy became not only a healing modality, but also a way to inspire sustainable, earth-honoring lifestyles and actions within her community.

Her comprehensive Yoga Therapy training equipped her to adapt yoga to a wide range of health needs, including heart disease, cancer, mental health disorders, women’s health conditions, and neurological issues. This training taught her how to not only heal herself, but also support others through deep, transformative work.

Brett further expanded her expertise through Ayurveda Wellness Coach training with Shakti School, led by Katie Silcox and a team of renowned healers from both Eastern and Western traditions. She feels immense gratitude for these teachings and for the entrepreneurial inspiration she gained from these powerful women.

Recognizing a gap in her community for the kind of integrative healing she had received, Brett founded Four Moons Yoga Therapy. It's her way of sharing the life-changing practices that helped her heal from hormonal imbalances, mental health struggles, and an autoimmune journey.

The combination of Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy—along with her deep-rooted passion for the environment—embodies Brett’s core belief in holistic healing. She weaves her environmental background into her therapeutic approach, guiding others to not only nourish and care for themselves, but to live in a way that honors the Earth. Drawing from the Sattva Vinyasa lineage, Brett leads elemental-inspired practices that blend Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation, helping students align with the rhythms of nature and the cycles of life.

In every Yoga Therapy session, Brett meets you exactly where you are. Whether you're working with her through yoga therapy or Ayurveda, you can trust that she will hold space with care, precision, and genuine presence. Wherever you are on your healing path, Brett is here to help you feel whole, grounded, and supported.

I have only high praise for four moons! !

Brett helped me gain back my power and take control of my health again. The yoga therapy portion of her protocol is deeply restorative...these sessions taught me to really be intuitive with my body on and off the mat. I now have awareness throughout my day to tune into what needs extra loving or what I need to take it easy with.

The Ayurveda is where the real magic happens! This is a full lifestyle reset - the guidance on nutrition, connecting food with the seasons and my cycle has allowed me to feel deeply connected to what and how I am engaging with my body day to day. It takes discipline - but it is 100% worth it!

I had been in PT for years and was at the point of giving up the hope of having a pain free existence. I was recommended to see Brett with Four Moons by a good friend and decided there was no harm in trying something new...and it was the best decision I made.

Brett not only worked with me to restore my body, but she taught me tools like breath-work and mind-body awareness that helped me sustain all of the beneficial changes we were making in our sessions. I realized that with PT, I would feel good for a day, and then go back to my normal / habitual patterns of movement and tension holding and the pain would all come back. With yoga therapy, I have learned how to take these practices into my every day life and I genuinely feel like a new woman!
